BASS TROMBONE DISCOGRAPHY

In response to many queries, I have attempted to compile a comprehensive list of bass trombone solo recordings, whether they are out of print or currently available. Please send me an email message with complete information about any recordings I may have missed and updates on any errors or missing information in the entries below so this resource can be as complete as possible. I am only including recordings that were/are commercially available and feature the bass trombone as a solo instrument either alone or with accompaniment. When recordings include music other than bass trombone solos, I am only listing the bass trombone solo works.

The recordings that are currently available may be obtained through many dealers, including:

Hickeys Music Center, 104 Adams Street, Ithaca, NY 14850 USA (Orders: 800.442.5397, Other calls: 607.272.8262, 24 hour fax: 607.272.2203, Email: info@hickeys.com)

and

TAP Music Sales, 1992 Hunter Avenue, Newton, IA 50208 USA (Phone: 515.792.0352; Fax: 515.792.1361)

These two dealers have an extensive inventory of bass trombone recordings as well as other brass recordings and printed music. Many of the LPs listed are out of print but may be located in used record stores or the dealers above may have some left in stock.
